I always assumed that her fanbase is women, I saw an episode of her tv show and it was fairly excruciating .

Ha well I get this one too now. I have a female friend who is absolutely lovely but to put it nicely is a bit of a mess, not in a terrible way, just is always victim of circumstance and not willing or able to be self-responsible for day to day life. This humour resonates with her massively.

Chappelles show was sensational. Charlie Murphys true Hollywood stories and The ****** family are the real standouts to me. I also liked the doco when he organized a block party, seems a really nice bloke too.

Eddie Murphy pretty much stopped being funny the moment the 80s ended but Raw....Delirious.....Trading Places.....Beverly Hills Cop.....Coming to America.......that there is a collection of comedy genius.

Genuinely sad when Dave walked away from comedy. Grew up on Raw and Delirious so Eddie will always be a favourite. Can still quote chunks of either show.

Reckon my favourite comedian at the moment is probably Louis CK, loved his piece at the Oscars and find his stand-up really good too.

Yeah Louis is excellent. Reminds me of Carlin who was a massive influence on Louis.

Just watched Bill Burr on Netflix and I recommend that for a laugh. Great show.

How anyone found Arrested Development worth more than one light chuckle per season is beyond me. I watched part way into the second season and quit.

It's all OK now, I have just read that Harrison Ford has confirmed a new Indiana Jones movie!

Jobs. This movie could have been renamed 'Asshole'.

Might have been interesting for Apple lovers for the techie side of things, but the way he treated people closest to him turned my stomach.

Which one is that? He came across as a colossal cock in the Ashton Kulcher one but they've made at least one more film about him .

Yep, was the Kutcher one. The time jumps made it jarring too. Like at the end, oh boom, married with kids and the daughter he shunned is napping on his couch. Missed all the things that might have humanised him a little.

POint Break (the fake one)

Well, I knew I shouldnt, but had to have a look, going in with expectations of if they had made it without soiling the name plus a great template, it might be ok...Patrick Swayze (RIP) would be turning in his grave at how shit this was and how shit they portrayed Bodhi in this, Johnny Utah was shit, WTF was up with all his shitty Tatts?

They even had a weak arse copycat scene where Bodhi just says 'dont you know who this is' or similar about Utah.

THe story was a bit shit, just scratched the surface of the original 'plot' with Utah going surfing with Bodhi and his mates one day, Party that night, underground Fight club next day and then the 3rd off in fly-suits. Next day snowboarding where his 'death wish' gets one of the gang killed, they have another party and he is 'in' with the gang!

Ray Winstone is Pappas FFS!

Is basically an extreme sports extravaganza film...even if it wasnt called Point Break, it'd still be a bit shit.

haha, no, I just thought it might be a decent action film (like Fast and Furious was, which was a rip-off of PB)

    River's Edge from 1986.

Maybe only Tim has heard of this one. A guy argues with his girlfriend and strangles her. He then tells his mates in the most casual way possible. Nobody believes him so he goes and shows them. And they then show others. And nobody really knows what to do.

Normally Id never watch a film like this but for some reason landed on the channel. Really quite enjoyed it despite the presence of Keanu Reeves.

I think this was in most video stores in the early 90s. I can remember watching it back then but can't remember anything about it.

That's the Michael Fassbender one I assume. The best Jobs movie is Pirates of Silicon Valley, an TV movie from the 90s about the rise of Apple and Microsoft.
