@JC I am seriously not involved in this one.
Although I might have a pair of these somewhere from the eighties (which is a bit creepy TBH):
I have the brown pair, I find they really bring out the ranga in my beard. The obvious downside being itβs tougher to perve on a sunny day.

I've got these and five other pairs of sunnies in the drawer next to me. And a pair in the car. Not sure i need that many.
Perhaps I keep buying them like I used to have to when I would always lose them.

The other half pinches my spare pairs. It goes without saying she wears them better than me

Easy peelers. They're fucken not. Is there a more absurdly named object in the UK than these ridiculous mandarin replacements?
Dude, how big are your fingers? They are very apt named!
I've said it before and I'll say it again - I'm no @Hooroo but I don't have girly hands. It takes me at least a minute, sometimes two on the ones I've been buying the last couple of months. You shop at Waitrose don't ya?
-
@R-L said in Grumpy Old Man:
@Bones I thought easy peelers were just marketed towards kids?
Are you storing them in a fridge? If so, don't.I do hate when there's too much pith left on segments.
Oh yeah, I forgot about all that marketing I saw for easy peelers.
Nah storing them in the fruit basket....

@Bones mental age is appropriate for you maybe.
They get hard in the fridgeMaybe time to rethink parenting. Kids shouldn't be in the fridge.

God, that's another thing which gets on my goat - bloody Waitrose shoppers who think shopping there enhances their social status.
"Oh Tristan found some Fig & Guava Focaccia there last week. He likes to feed to the ducks".

@Victor-Meldrew on a WhatsApp group with the missus Twells friends. Guy on there always has to mention Waitrose instead of supermarket. It's pretty funny.
