If they are close to each other, otherwise Vader wouldn't have had too much trouble finding Luke, or Leia for that matter.

What did Ashoka end up doing with the Magistrate ? Chucked in one of those prison torture things I’d expect.

Was she some sort of force user too or ‘merely’ yet another awesome female fighter ?

This show has truckloads....Cara, the armourer, Bo Katan, Bo Katans Mando mate, Ashoka....hardcore feminists must be furious there’s nothing to whinge about in Mando.....

Read back. They are still finding problems. Armour with room for breasts for example.

Oh of course. How could I forget that. I hope they cancel the show immediately

That Twitter post got absolutely murdered online, some great replies to it - the best from other women.

Dawson is currently going through a attempted cancellation as well, some from Lucasarts employees as well. All over a discredited lawsuit.

And obviously Gina is copping it because she has opinions that differ from groupthink.

The irony is that the targets here are giving them what they have always wanted, strong popular female characters. Each one of Katee, Gina and Rosario has a character that is not shoe-horned into the plot and a character independant enough they they all likely to get their own series.

The left like to eat their own.

These women are 100X more badass than the female characters in Eps 7 8 and 9. Talk about missing the forest for the trees

And it makes it hard to smear the SW fanbase as misogynistic when their favourite Mandalorain characters are all women.

Leia in the 70s was kick ass as well albeit more in terms of her dialogue than action scenes. They way she spoke back to Vader and Tarkin was awesome !

But of course any criticism of Finns character ( in the movies and off screen ) is racist ( forgetting such awesome characters as Lando, Mace Windu and Greef Carga ) and any criticism of Rose is sexist ( forgetting any number of kick ass female characters, add Padme, Leia, Rey and Jyn to the ones I mentioned from Mando )

We could take this to the SW Universe politics thread if there was one but why the last comment?
Sure, idiots like that are often left leaning in their politics but they aren't representative. Just call them what they are. Idiots.

in fairness...just because there are great black or female characters...doesn't mean comments against fin or rose or anyone else haven't been racist or sexist...that's like the old "I have black friends...but..." or "I'm not racist….but...."

They have copped some atrocious abuse on line

That is all before rebels though, she knows the old Jedi order is gone and she’s become a big part of the rebels by the end of “rebels”, she still cared for anakin so maybe she’d care for his children especially if they had become a big part of the rebel organisation too...I’m sure more will be revealed

Did she even know he had kids?

That’s a good question, I think the answer is no.

good point, im once again probably assuming about luke and leia would have become front page news but quite possibly not

Yeah, apparently the Rose actress got a whole lot of grief directed at her. That’s not on at all.

Very tough to feel sympathy for John Boyega though with all his whinging. Fucks sake man, you were an absolute nobody before Star Wars, be grateful you got a part in the first place.

@MN5 and critiquing someone on there actions, or in his case often hammy acting, fair enough....he did get a bit "just because"

His character irked me a lot to put it mildly.

Everyone should watch this so they can be annoyed too.

@MN5 im not even going to watch it but im already not a fan...although im not a big fan of any of the characters in the prequels, im one of the few that actually liked Rose...far from perfect, but I liked seeing someone that just had a job guarding the escape pods and then doesn't think twice about tazing someone she though was a hero, she gets to go on a bit of an adventure (the fact the adventure was a weird side quest that didn't achieve anything isn't here fault, bad writing) but isn't some undiscovered best piolet in the galaxy or something, definitely didn't deserve any more abuse than anyone else

I think the new characters of the 3rd trilogy just lacked imagination in general. Filone is really utilising all the best characters of the peripheral SW universe right now

@canefan I honestly don't know why filoni wasn't involved on the sequels or why they didn't pic out some of his characters to flesh out the sequels...imagine the big bad had be Thrawn returned from the unknown regions with an armada...already better

I don't know either. He was Lucas's heir apparent, had already overseen Clone Wars and Rebels, which were well received. The bosses preferred to go with Abrams and that set the tone. I reckon it's better this way, he and Favreau should be given control of a bunch of movies free of the constraints that they put on the main story line
