@MN5 it was just a teaser, I thought it made a lot of sense after watching Mauls arc in Clone Wars...how he gets to where we see him in Rebels is also a cool story
He's one of the most fleshed out characters in start wars, if it was marvel making these we'd get a Maul movie going from the end of Cloe Wars to the start of Rebels and we'd see that scene from his perspective

@MN5 it is 100% canon, its in Rebels...great scene because Maul is trying to use the same move that killed Qui Gon but obi won is ready and dispatches him easily

Definitely, over in seconds.....and extremely poignant.....Obi Wan was Mauls unbeatable nemesis just like Dooku was for Kenobi himself.

@MN5 just looked it up, shit its a good scene, forgot he also goes through the different guards, the famous McGregor one and then the ones used by alec guinness and he only lights his saber when maul guesses he's there protecting someone

A cartoon, but arguably better than any scene in the sequel trilogy.
Obi Wan is such a brilliant character, his rumoured show will be compulsory viewing, I hope it comes to pass.

I heard it was going to be a mini series rather than a ongoing series, so like 5-6 episodes and that's it

just re watched the last 10 mins, they're/you're right, id blanked on the fact the voiceover talks about the battle of endor etc and this could easily be years after that
ps. I love how the reconned the old rebel with the beard at the battle of endor to be Rex

Sort of, Filoni has said Rex “could” have been there, but that white beard guy was someone else.
He doesn’t pin himself down, too smart. Feeds the fans juicy steaks though

No, older. Boba was grown at normal speed, clones were accelerated.
