The Mandalorian: Why Taika Waititi Isn’t Directing A Season 2 Episode

Maybe he'll return for season 3?

    Cheers had forgotten that.

Just did a search and also didn't realise that Tem is a skilled Mau rākau proponent especially in Taiaha. That stick is a Tusken weapon

Must watch again but think he threw some pukana into that fight.

He looked vicious alright.....crikey, never in a million years would I have believed that the most mysterious, coolest looking character in the OT would end up being a Maori fully from Rotorua.

Makes ya proud to be a kiwi huh ?

Big step up from his role in the prequels

Yeah but I enjoyed his tense chat with Obi Wan. That was well done.

Actually the Star Wars Bounty Hunter PS2 game fleshes his character ( Jango ) out pretty well too.

Razorcrest was a piece of crap anyway. Besides, it gives Lego an opportunity for new merch.
Mando hasn't provided them with much apart from it. Slave and X-wings are old hat now.

It suited him though. I'm sure he'll be able to pick up an old ship from somewhere...

Crap ships are part of Star Wars folklore.

Ever heard of the Millennium Falcon ?

As for merch think of all the characters, baby yoda being first and foremost.

MF is just disguised as a piece of junk. I hope Mando gets himself a new awesome ship along the way.

No, it was junk. They made it look fresher in Eps 7 8 and 9. Remember Princess's Leia's comment when she first saw it "You came to rescue me in that? You're braver than I thought

This would probably just be too much fan service....but what if the ship he picks up is the falcon...could tell the story of how it got to jakku...

The ship might just be too big for him to handle alone, unless a few of the others join in. I don't know where Filoni sees this ending, perhaps he joins Bo-Katan at the end and they have a ship?

He would need a co-pilot though. Han always seemed to need someone in the other seat and Lando had his droidfriend (although Rey managed by herself without ever having flown before).
    Yet another weird continuity error.

not a huge stretch to just say it was a preference for Han, don't think its ever said explicitly it cant been flown by one person if needs be, plus rey was flying out of pure desperation with no other options and purely flying what was in front of her, the other had to plots courses, deflector arrays etc

I always got the impression it was designed to be flown by two. There were plenty off switches and shit that the pilot couldnt reach.
Doesn't Han say to Rey that he needs a co-pilot when Chewie is injured?
