Razorcrest was a piece of crap anyway. Besides, it gives Lego an opportunity for new merch.
Mando hasn't provided them with much apart from it. Slave and X-wings are old hat now.Crap ships are part of Star Wars folklore.
Ever heard of the Millennium Falcon ?
As for merch think of all the characters, baby yoda being first and foremost.

MF is just disguised as a piece of junk. I hope Mando gets himself a new awesome ship along the way.
No, it was junk. They made it look fresher in Eps 7 8 and 9. Remember Princess's Leia's comment when she first saw it "You came to rescue me in that? You're braver than I thought
-
This would probably just be too much fan service....but what if the ship he picks up is the falcon...could tell the story of how it got to jakku...

The ship might just be too big for him to handle alone, unless a few of the others join in. I don't know where Filoni sees this ending, perhaps he joins Bo-Katan at the end and they have a ship?

He would need a co-pilot though. Han always seemed to need someone in the other seat and Lando had his droidfriend (although Rey managed by herself without ever having flown before).
Yet another weird continuity error. -

Yet another weird continuity error.not a huge stretch to just say it was a preference for Han, don't think its ever said explicitly it cant been flown by one person if needs be, plus rey was flying out of pure desperation with no other options and purely flying what was in front of her, the other had to plots courses, deflector arrays etc

I always got the impression it was designed to be flown by two. There were plenty off switches and shit that the pilot couldnt reach.
Doesn't Han say to Rey that he needs a co-pilot when Chewie is injured? -
@Crucial yeah, defiantly agree its designed that way and yes I think your right, I just thought that doesn't mean it CANT be flown to a certain extent by one, especially if your just doing the old stick and throttle

@Kiwiwomble said in Star Wars VII ****contains spoilers****:
@canefan apart from rey, which is canon, so I see it as unless someone has actually said "we're stuck on the ground unless we get a copilot" then rey has proven it can be done...its just not optimal
She also mentions that she needs help at one point
-
look I guess Mando has quite a few friends that would help, I don't think anyone wants it to become his regular ship as would kind of overshadow things a little
I was thinking something simple like Gideon has taken Grogu to a base on jakku, the Posse needs to get there and the wont all fit in Slave 1, someone overhears them and offeres to sell them a piece of junk they picked up on some sort of gamble, crew barley make it to jakku, ditch the heap of junk and carry on with the story, cameo from the falcon on how it was ditched on jakku
