Figured that even a silverfern XI with Mariner opening the bowling (because he's tall and skinny) would try to bounce puckowski, it's that obvious. Still don't know why you brought the Indians into it

The point is: they won't take it easy on Pucovski just because he's had (a few too many) blows to the head. He's an opening batsman in a Test so if he's out there, he's fair game.

A sternly worded letter of dissatisfaction will have the bcci quaking I'm sure. Better to be decent hosts and accomodate all sides for this one off match.
All they have to announce is - "there's a deadly virus present in Queensland, so we're outta here thanks very much! - player safety etc blah...
You can't on the one hand hype up the scary virus to paralysis levels and then condemn visiting people for not wanting to be near it.
