    @MN5 at this stage, yes.

    https://www.cricket.com.au/news/australia-test-squad-update-joe-burns-david-warner-will-pucovski-sydney-third-test-india-changes/2020-12-30

    Loved this bit:

Fast bowler Sean Abbott will also re-join the Test squad after recovering from a calf strain.

    Good luck chuck.

@NTA The last four of that lineup are awesome. Only a couple of the first 7 are proven, depending on the day for results. TBF Paine is a good keeper and his batting is sound.

It is still a great team and I would back them in Aus any day.

@NTA dunno. Thought you were having a sook. Couldn't work out why you thought the Indians would say nothing. Thought you were smearing them again when they've got nothing to do with puckowski.
Figured that even a silverfern XI with Mariner opening the bowling (because he's tall and skinny) would try to bounce puckowski, it's that obvious. Still don't know why you brought the Indians into itπŸ˜’

Uh.... because they're playing against India?

Did you and Mick From Gold Coast got into the sherry early for NYE or something? πŸ€”

The point is: they won't take it easy on Pucovski just because he's had (a few too many) blows to the head. He's an opening batsman in a Test so if he's out there, he's fair game.

@Siam I'd go further and say I have genuine concerns for a guy that age with that history padding up. But we will see I guess.

@NTA I hear you but better to let him play and enjoy his chance rather than dwell on a what if.

Crowds for the SCG reduced from 50% capacity to 25% capacity.

Possible showers predicted for Thursday and Friday at Moore Park but mostly clear thereafter. So it might even go until Day 5!

India are also reportedly shitty about having to go into hard lockdown for the Gabba test.

However, a source in the Indian camp has reportedly expressed concern over the team being forced into a hard quarantine upon entry to Queensland, saying they would rather the final β€” and possibly deciding β€” Test be played elsewhere.

This was after five players reportedly broke the bubble in Melbourne:

A video of some Indian players, including Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant, sitting at a table in a Melbourne restaurant has been posted on the Twitter account of Navaldeep Singh.

Will be following this one pretty keenly........extremely hard to call ( at 1-1 in the series this is hardly a startling insight )

Firstly, fuck off if you don't like quarantine. It's what every other team has had to endure to play cricket this year.

Secondly, has Navaldeep received any threats yet?

@booboo don’t believe too much of what is being reported. Sounds like a bit of games going on before the Sydney test starts. Brad Haddin trying to egg it up last night too.
