I watched episode 1 of this as it's just started airing in NZ (only 3 years behind). The reviews are positive and the show has a good cast, but is it worth watching the 3 seasons so far?

I loved it. Took me 2 episodes before I understood what the hell they were saying, but then I was hooked. Definitely recommend.

Didnt have a normal MO, aside from the shoes didn't leave a signature for them to ID him, I think he may have been a bit of a moron some aspects but when it came to chaos, he obviously found his niche.

@Frank It was brilliant TV. Up there with the best IMO. I've not watched series 2 (because Farrell/Vaughan) or 3 through lack of opportunity. The chemistry between McConaughey and Harrelson was just fantastic in S1 and the storyline was brilliant once you got the hang of the timeline. Plus, hot chicks getting banged left right and centre.

S1 of True Detective is the best but S3 is very good too. Mahershala Ali and Stephen Dorff are great in the latter.
S2 isn't as bad as some say but is a step down from the other two series.
