Burling is terrible at the starts. If you go back to the last cup it was exactly the same except when he lost the starts then he had the speed to catch up. Now his starts are sinking his team.

In any case, with any of the cylindrical projections, including your racist Mercator.... I much prefer the version with China in the middle, rather than Europe. It just fits so much better, and incidentally with pleasing symmetry.

Well local knowledge doesn't appear to have been of any help. LR clearly more manoeuvrable in these conditions and piloted by someone who can work out time and distance.

There should be some pointed questions asked after this shitshow of a race.
