@chris-b Havili is surely a lock now after his form from SRA. Jordie can also cover 12/13 if needed so I have no qualms about Ngani making the move overseas.

@canes4life Yeah - you'd think so. Especially with Goodhue unavailable.

    ALB, Rieko, Havili and PUJ?

Nope, any quality (even if not top quality) player fucking off to the Euro/Yen/Pound sucks. Yeah he was a bit of a self important knob, but he was good to watch.

Especially as it will 3 PI nations (minus most/all NH pros) in a row. See some youngsters in the ABs environment if nothing else.

I'm gutted about this one. I really rate him ball in hand and think he had the opportunity to be our next Nonu, or perhaps a bench option covering wing and midfield. Remember Nonu took some serious time to be our number one.

Still, have to assume the AB brains trust were happy to let him go, and those guys do know better than me oh that's right no they don't it's Foster.

Was Laumape worth 3 times his current salary to retain him? Nope. Good luck to him though.

@majorrage Yeah I thought he may still have time to come back and have a crack after getting a bit more well rounded, but as he's 28 now that might be pushing it a bit.

I think it's too late to wait for Laumape to be the next Nonu. Nonu turned the corner in 2008 when he was 25. Laumape is 28 and still hasn't shown much growth in the skills department.

@bovidae dang he's quite young still. Funny that he still ended up in the Chiefs.

@yeetyaah Iosefa-Scott didn't go to a traditional rugby school (Melville HS) so wasn't even on the radar until playing club rugby.

@bovidae āe I remember reading the article. One of my uni lecturers taught him at Melville back in the day.
