@majorrage oh there's children there
No. I'm 97. My son is 72. He just loves frisbee.
I tell war stories, whilst he chases that thing around all day. Ah, good times.

I'm on zero today. Wife well offside with me, haven't seen the dog (wife took my wee girl with her). The one thing that cheers me up, the dog, and she knows it. I am in the office because I don't want to be around wife.
None of this will end well. 18 years we have been married, just a few days ago we had our anniversary. 25 years together in total. Will go to an hotel on my own tonight.
Life sucks. There just isn't a point to it.
Might be time to pull the pin on the marriage ? Life is too short to be in a shit situation.....

@mn5 Yeah. I don't give up easy.
She's a fantastic woman, but man she can bring me down. I don't know.
I am always reluctant to offer marital advice to anyone as you can never know all the intricacies: however I will say this. Never make a life changing decision through a knee-jerk reaction.
Hope it all improves for you both mate.

@snowy Mate, that's no good. Hope it sorts itself out. Have you told her about your fernie nominations, may help her realise what's she's got?
Sorry, crap jokes probably don't help right now, but it's all I've got.
Do we know it's not that she got more noms?

@Snowy my go too is normally some sort of joke but I got nothing that wouldn’t trivialise what you’re going through
All I can say is I’ve been there, maybe not exactly where you are but somewhere similar...and the fact you still call her a wonderful woman makes me think there are still good times ahead, patience and then talk it though
Good luck

@Snowy the joy and the curse of knowing each other so well, when you want to hurt the other you know the ways
Sorry to hear things are shit at the moment. Try and enjoy the hotel room and take care. A beverage or two and some shit talking on the fern isn't quite a 100% panacea but you know what they say... 60% of the time, it works every time!!

It's the reassurance that comes with knowing that out in cyberspace there is a gang of hot Polish chicks who have got your back

@snowy Just read you are having a tough time. Hope a new day heralds a new beginning and better times for you both.
Jeez that sounds like a hallmark greeting card. If anyone remembers greeting cards.
Anyways genuinely hope it all turns around for you quickly

That's a bit shit buddy. It will get better though, if you want it to. 25 years is a long time, you're bound to have the odd drama in that time but the good thing is that's 25 years to learn what you like about each other too. I'm sure that will carry you both through.
Flowers are good.
