She did a radio showcase in Auckland and my radio mate asked if I wanted to come along, but I think there was Blues v Brumbies game on and I couldn't be arsed driving up from Hamilton.

Anyway, him and his girlfriend were chatting to her at the showcase and they got on pretty well, and afterwards they went to a restaurant and Delta and her Mum walked in about 5 minutes later, so they all decided to eat with together.

Did I mention Brooke Burke already? These stories reminded me as I fucken swear I "met" her in Sydney when I lived there, and it was right at the height of my besottedness too.

But.... fuuuuuuck I was in an altered state, and back then I was typically shy, but I spotted her in the bar and thought "fucking hell...no way...."

@nepia She was young too. Was older than me though, late teens, I'd say. A bean bag next to the pool with her arm around my neck. As I said that doesn't go away. She definitely gets a pass.
