I blew a chance to meet her by watching a Super rugby game on TV.
She did a radio showcase in Auckland and my radio mate asked if I wanted to come along, but I think there was Blues v Brumbies game on and I couldn't be arsed driving up from Hamilton.
Anyway, him and his girlfriend were chatting to her at the showcase and they got on pretty well, and afterwards they went to a restaurant and Delta and her Mum walked in about 5 minutes later, so they all decided to eat with together.
I bet she is one of those chicks that looks even better in person

Did I mention Brooke Burke already? These stories reminded me as I fucken swear I "met" her in Sydney when I lived there, and it was right at the height of my besottedness too.
But.... fuuuuuuck I was in an altered state, and back then I was typically shy, but I spotted her in the bar and thought "fucking hell...no way...."
Was in a good enough"mood" to walk right up and attempt to start a conversation, except not really being able to form words and sentences. Then she responds...in a fucken American accent! And professed not to know who Brooke Burke is...

Even more annoying was that she went out with Phillip Schofield, a few years later, for sure, who has ended up being gay. No problem with that, just seems like a waste of her younger years that I remember her so well for. She really was Hawt!

I have never known how much she was teasing or serious. Doesn't really matter now, but yes I should have tried a bit more in hindsight. Of course my crush on her just got bigger over the years.

In the late 90s we were at a NY Party and Angela Bloomfield was there, problem was loads of dudes were having a crack, my g/f was so pissed with me and her flirting she left the party, went back to our campground, got her car and drove home!

I was behind her in the line and Countdown once years ago. No makeup and so looked pretty normal, what struck me was how tiny she was!! On the subject of Shorty Street ex-cast members, I reckon that Kimberley Crossman is probably saucy in person....
I chatted briefly with Lana Coc-Kroft at a bar years ago. Sure I was several drinks in, but I was just being totally friendly not trying to hit on her, but for an attractive woman she had a resting scowl face. Must have had a little too much lemon in her cocktail!!
