Got through the first 3 eps of The Darkside of the Ring - yikes!

Ultimate Warrior and Dynamite kid are up in season 3, fair to say they indulged in a few roids and cocaine between them.

The Jake the Snake family episode (especially the father ) is the most disturbing one I've seen so far.

Grizzly Smith, his father, an out and out pedo'.

Blackadder only really kicked off in S2 when they switched around the Blackadder and Baldrick characters. Atkinson being sardonic and Robinson being his whipping boy is what made it.
Just skip S1 altogether.

I have seen plenty of the wartime eps, and know I like them, so I will keep going.

S2 has brilliance interspersed with stupidity, S3 the same but Hugh Laurie lifts it higher.

ive always thought, if "the Office" didn't exist, then the next series of Blackadder should have been set in an office, as "they" become less important each time around, Prince > Lord and advisor to the Queen > butler to a Prince > Army officer ....middle management

S1 has Brian Blessed so of course it is worth watching. The series only gets better from S1-4.

Late to the party I know, but damn, how good is "Mare of Easttown".

My wife and I binged it in a day over the long weekend here. Just could not stop watching.

Don't bother with many of the Emmy's this year, they are already taken.

@voodoo there were stand out scenes for me. I love it though. The episode with "THE INTERNET" and Jen's new shoes, and most of later in the series.

Ben Elton joined Curtis and Atkinson to write series 2, 3, 4. It got much better. I know much of it off by heart, like Farty Towels and some of the Python stuff.
