@crucial I thnk ep 3 was the only good one so far (where he was supposed to marry the Spanish Princess)

I have seen plenty of the wartime eps, and know I like them, so I will keep going.

S2 has brilliance interspersed with stupidity, S3 the same but Hugh Laurie lifts it higher.

ive always thought, if "the Office" didn't exist, then the next series of Blackadder should have been set in an office, as "they" become less important each time around, Prince > Lord and advisor to the Queen > butler to a Prince > Army officer ....middle management

started sweet tooth, well made and emotional so far

S1 has Brian Blessed so of course it is worth watching. The series only gets better from S1-4.

Late to the party I know, but damn, how good is "Mare of Easttown".

My wife and I binged it in a day over the long weekend here. Just could not stop watching.

Don't bother with many of the Emmy's this year, they are already taken.

@voodoo there were stand out scenes for me. I love it though. The episode with "THE INTERNET" and Jen's new shoes, and most of later in the series.

I am struggling through S1 of Blackadder...

Ben Elton joined Curtis and Atkinson to write series 2, 3, 4. It got much better. I know much of it off by heart, like Farty Towels and some of the Python stuff.

@snowy Yes, season 1, was by far the weakest but still had its moments.

“You promise not to pass laws over Scotland “?

    “I promise”…… “I wouldn’t pass water over Scotland”.

    I tried to like this.
Couldn't stand the younger main character.
    Awful.

Haha. Had forgotten that one. I've still watched it about 5 times, and yes it was still good. Just watched the others about 8 times.

I remember working as a waiter in my teens and a large group of people wanted their dinner ASAP so that they could go home and watch Blackadder. Was the first time that I had heard of it.

Bad Batch - awesome ep last night. For a cartoon this is pretty good.

Loki - Could have just been my mood/tiredness but ep2 just didn't grab me. I might have to try it again. Disclaimer: I'm not a big Marvel fan so I don't get stimulated by looking for easter eggs and the like. Just judging on the show in isolation.

    The Grinder

Rob Lowe does Horatio Caine as an actor playing a lawyer in a TV series that's finished so decides to join the family law firm. It's pretty bloody good after 2 episodes, some good laughs, there's the odd cheesy USA sitcom type scene but they're easy to look past.

Don't watch TV on your exercise bike, Handmaid's ruined my work out but it's a price I'll pay, not an episode goes by that I don't cry. Oh my days I wish I could spoil it for you all!!

Are you watching Series 4 online?

Watched Episode one tonight. June is one tough mother!

yeah, some of the timeline stuff kind of needs some background from the movies and comics, still makes sense but its a big deal if you know the background

@pakman finished it now, I watched US time.
God what a series! Cried every episode, no exaggeration. Let me know what you all think of the last episode when you get there.. I was a little disappointed. But for once something actually happens and not too much of a cliff hanger!!

    Outlander
Probably been discussed before but won't look back in case of any spoilers, only a few eps in. Well well well...very interesting so far, definitely need to fan one's self a little as the raunch factor seems to be going up every episode!
This fella is easy on the eye too..

Outlander? The first series isn't bad, albeit some harrowing scenes. Jamie a charismatic and handsome lead (gay in real life).

Downhill from there. Now (Mrs. Pakman on last series) just crap, albeit quite girlie.
