Imagine my disappointment at finally getting around to getting a pot of mussels once I moved over here, out it comes, I open the lid and there's hundreds of the miniscule fuckers, no bigger than the top of my thumb I have to spend ten times longer deshelling, all for a tiny not even bite size portion at a time. Haven't bothered since.
It's not the size it's what you do with it that counts.

Kina roe is unbeatable. Love kina. Salty, sweet and umami.
