But not YOUR State Premier. This is key.

    So thanks, Dictator Dan.

Many of the ABs and Wallaby players have been in regular contact so I am sure the situation was discussed amongst themselves prior to Friday. If Rennie was genuinely surprised he mustn't be talking to Hooper and co.

That's interesting, good that they're getting along these days as opposed to a few years ago.

Ultimately we don't know who said what to whom.

You are entitled to believe anyone you want, but it's just blind guessing. But if it helps you sleep at night, go nuts.

The COVID situation has made a mess of something that looked relatively straightforward a month ago.

Let's hope we get a resolution without placing too much burden on the players. While they are well remunerated, being without your family for long stretches is incredibly tough.

I think the challenge in scheduling is balancing the needs of broke unions with the needs of a tiring player group.

It's a bastard of a job, which is why the situation at the moment is almost understandable. Everyone must be at their wits end with this whole thing, perhaps a blow up was always inevitable.

I have some faith they'll work it out as they worked out stuff last year and for TTSR even while carrying on like clowns then too.

It was mainly the clown that insisted on the Wallabies not being friendly with the ABs wasn't it?

To many clowns to choose from these days - Gats, Cheika, Marinos, Robinson ....

Although, Cheika seems less clownish on the Stan coverage these days, he just seems pretty passionate about rugby and is often very complimentary of the ABs.

Yeah he's a good commentator, just very invested to he point of idiocy when invovlved in the team. I would have loved the tech to have a mini picture in picture of him in the coaching box during all the Bleds - such ridiculous over the top ranting!

It was just when Cheika was coaching against us. He tried to use a seige mentality that had a negative impact on their discipline at times

Writing for keo.co.za, South African columnist Mark Keohane went one step further and called for the All Blacks to either forfeit points for missing next weekend's match or be booted from the Rugby Championship.

"If the All Blacks can't make their games, then they should forfeit the points or they should withdraw from the tournament and allow Australia, South Africa and Argentina to get on with it," Keohane wrote.

    LOL, very short memory

@booboo Ah OK. Well if you say so, that must have been how it happened.

I had drafted a post winding back the "He's lying" accusation, but I either didn't post it or it got deleted for all the drunk typos.

As I said yesterday I think the issue is lack of agreement not lack of consultation.

That's not to say I don't find Marinos as credible as a used car salesman, and it seems to me as if RA's default position is to whinge in the media.

And @Machpants Keo is one of the original clickbait artists.

@Machpants @Chris Nobody I know really bothers with his stuff here anymore. Gavin Rich is a decent Supersport writer and Craig Ray from Daily Maverick arguably top of the pile with journos like Liam Del Carme and Simnikiwe Xabanisa also up there with balanced pieces. Keo is a clickbait troll in plenty people’s opinions over here too.

Resolution found? All Blacks set to leave NZ next week

After New Zealand Rugby controversially opted out of flying the All Blacks to Perth this week, a solution appears to have been found, with the All Blacks set to leave New Zealand next week. Liam Napier reports.

The All Blacks are likely to board a plane to Perth next week for the third, rescheduled Bledisloe Cup test against the Wallabies on September 4.

The difference between next week and last, when New Zealand Rugby sparked an outcry by pulling pin on the All Blacks travelling for the scheduled August 28 Bledisloe test in Perth, is the Rugby Championship destination is expected to be finalised by Tuesday or Wednesday.

The continued uncertainty surrounding whether Europe, Queensland or South Africa will host the four-nation tournament is the rationale NZ Rugby cited for not sending the All Blacks last Saturday.

Provided health protocols remain the same, allowing the All Blacks to travel to Perth, stay in a controlled bubble and play seven days later, and Rugby Australia can negotiate with AFL to secure Optus Stadium on September 4, the final sold-out Bledisloe is expected to be staged then.

Just makes a mockery of their populist covid border policy. Everyone else has to quarantine for 14 days.

But come on, it's the ABs, our aura will protect us! Should have been sorted out behind closed doors. Same solution, look less like incompetent dick heads

Makes everyone look stupid. A couple of days after throwing the toys out of the cot everyone's managed to find a harmonious solution and convinced Capt Shitlips to soften his stance on covid quarantine, because rugby players are less likely to catch it. πŸ™„
