2015/2016 Premier League

What a fairy tale!!!

Leicester will be in party mode and I expect there will be a tonne of no-shows for work tomorrow. Great stuff.
-

2 of the most reprehensible football sides in the PL, but Hazard's goal was pure class.

Tottenham choked, and then just hacked their way to multiple YCs.

Diego Costa is a savage.

Well done to LC, greatest surprising sporting achievement ever.
-

A Leicester man also leading at World Snooker Champs! Just needs one more frame to win it

Ding Junhui is from Leicester. Well I never...

:p
-

And Selby has just won!! This probably won even feature in Leicester local rag tomorrow

i watched Chelsea v Spurs this morning. The second half was a bit, well, spicy. Some Spurs players let themselves down by letting their frustration get the better of them, some of the lunges in were poor at best. And the boy with the fingers in the eye is going to be sitting out the rest of the year.

Chelsea's 2nd goal was worth watching the game for itself.

Congratulations to Leicester, what a story. The most unlikely league win in any sport i can remember (in terms of where they were at the start of the season).

As this is sport, and it never stands still, what do they do now?
-

Amazing stuff!

I'm hoping a fan out there threw a sneaky hundy on them at the start of the year. Add that to the unlikely first title and he'd be like a puppy wetting himself with excitement.

Truly a modern sporting fairytale. Excellent stuff.

One fan put 50 quid on them. Didn't take early payout money either. Ladbrokes apparently paid out 4.5m quid (I don't have the pound key on my computor, I just notifed)
-

alt 0 1 6 3 will give you £

Yeah that is outstanding really, I would probably only get about $200 or so for Northland to win the championship or premiership (always forget which one it is) and that aint gonna happen!
-

£

holy shit it does! i learned something
-

They should be able to bask in the glory for at least 30 odd years.
-

So now we have to look forward to Gary Lineker hosting Match of the Day in his undies. Every silver lining has its cloud

So what next.

Can Leicester hold on to the current squad?

How much of their financial windfall will they spend strengthening their squad for CL?

Taking nothing away from Ranieri who has done a sensational job and should have the job for as long as he wants it, but given this was Pearson's squad really, wonder what would have happened if he hadn't been outed as a racist and bully.

Great result for football, Premiership and every supporter of a club outside the big 5. What value the talk of a breakaway European Championship know?

Must suck to be Spurs (or Arsenal).
-

I see John Terry is showing his usual high class on Twitter today.. ( I can't link the tweet but to do wiht spurs not winnning at the bridge on his watch)
