<p>i watched Chelsea v Spurs this morning. The second half was a bit, well, spicy. Some Spurs players let themselves down by letting their frustration get the better of them, some of the lunges in were poor at best. And the boy with the fingers in the eye is going to be sitting out the rest of the year.</p>

<p>Chelsea's 2nd goal was worth watching the game for itself.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Congratulations to Leicester, what a story. The most unlikely league win in any sport i can remember (in terms of where they were at the start of the season). </p>

<p>As this is sport, and it never stands still, what do they do now?</p> -

<p>How much of their financial windfall will they spend strengthening their squad for CL?</p>

<p>Taking nothing away from Ranieri who has done a sensational job and should have the job for as long as he wants it, but given this was Pearson's squad really, wonder what would have happened if he hadn't been outed as a racist and bully.</p>

<p>Great result for football, Premiership and every supporter of a club outside the big 5. What value the talk of a breakaway European Championship know?</p>

<p>I did a piece two years ago trying to decide which EPL team I should support. I got my shortlist down to Leicester City, Stoke City and Southampton.</p>

<p>I went with the Saints, which looked like a good decision last season . . . (and this season too, kind of!)</p> -
<p>Southampton are a good shout. Good side, good manager, play a good brand, and do well even though they are a "selling" club. </p>
<p> </p>
<p>Picking Leicester would have been folly. And then this season happened</p> -
<p>Liverpool into final of Europa Cup and will win it which means they will take one of the Champions league places off either Man City or Arsenal.</p>

<p>Sevilla will be a tough nut to crack, they seem to have this comp wired. But we're a shout, especially is Sturridge is fit (and that's a big if). </p>

<p>Two cup finals in a year isn't too bad. Kopp seems to be going well. </p>
