His need to be liked is a turn off.
But extraordinary player.
Hard to speak about GOAT without acknowledging changes in game:
Composite racquets/hybrid strings/slowed down hardcourts/less grass.
Would have had his work cut out against Borg with a wooden racquet on clay!
But second slam would objectively make his claims near impossible to ignore.

Yeah. Class act - really grounded and with no airs or aggressive stuff. Love the way she acknowledged Tim Henman first of all after she won.
Mrs Meldrew read she flew her childhood tennis coach from her club in Bromley to be at the Final. Lovely thing to do.
