Yeah there's a bit of a group of them who always pop up with gratuitous cameos. Step Brothers is fucken outstanding humour and John C bouncing off Will Ferrell is the main reason for that. Definitely far more worthy of a sequel than most "comedies"
 
Rudd was the co-lead of Role Models but it was Stifler ( whatever his real name is ) that stole the show there as he always does ( the American Pie movies were shit in basically any scene that he wasn't in )

Agree, Reilly is awesome in both Step Brothers & Talladega Nights. Perfect accomplice to Ferrell's on-off ability to hit genuine comedy.
 
Not seen Role Models, will have to check it out.
 
Saw Sean William Scott on an interview a few years ago, he wasn't even close in real life to the antaganostic arseholes which he plays - quite down to earth and humble. Was very surprising.

I love the way Reilly uses small, goofy variations on words, like using "raper" instead of "rapist". Loved him in Step Brothers. Loved him as Dr. Steve Brule.

The mockumentary, <a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0302585/'>FUBAR</a>, is a good laugh. Which reminds me, I need to watch <a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1456635/'>Goon</a>.

FINALLY they've released Deadpool on Google Play in Australia. Own it, now get to watch it and get all the bits I missed due to laughing up my colon at the cinema.
 
Also noted the Apple TV menu that Deadpool keeps popping up in various movie headers e.g.

All good but I forgot I pre ordered the NZ version too.... Soooo I have 2 copies showing in my iTunes library. Shit balls

Good idea the wife would be keen, me watching an offensive loud movie like Deadpool on the tv while also watching another copy on my phone...

The best thing about Reilly in step brothers was his ability to really look completely, utterly dumb and clueless. His facial expressions and demeanour through the whole thing are just spot on funny.

Turns out I got this as a freebie on Google Movies and hadn't gotten around to it.
 
I thought it was pretty damn good to the point where I didn't notice how long it was going. As I was watching late at night I checked regularly and was surprised at one point that it was more than halfway through.
 
There is a lot of stuff that goes by without dialogue, but the atmosphere created around Bullock's character is quite well done, particularly the foley work which is exceptional. You get a real feel for the isolation and most importantly the lack of sound.
 
A couple of stretches of the imagination but nothing a good scifi film wouldn't engage in.
 
I give it four scantily-clad Sandra Bullocks out of 5.

Deadpool was ok, for a superhero movie which I despise as a rule ( apart from Batman, that was awesome....aw and the first Iron Man as well ).

Good rule. Lasted about three seconds. 
 
$762M gross is "ok" these days I guess - highest grossing R-rated movie of all time. For a budget of around $58M that is alright.
 
Main thing is what its done to the genre: making studios rethink their approach to these movies to the point where Suicide Squad is getting some reshoots.
