@mariner4life said in NBA Season - now 21/22:

jesus, the regular season really is just a chore to get through for the playoff sides

It's the 4th fucking game of the season and LBJ is having a rest

Yes, it's only the Spurs, but man...

I've said this before, but the TeWaio(TM) NBA season would be 43 games:

    • 30 teams, so player every other team once = 29 games.

    • Play every team in your conference twice, so an additional 14 games = 43 games.

    • Within your conference you play each team home and away.

    • The other conference, you alternate each season between home or away.

Makes a marquee game like KD playing at Staples / LeBron at the Barclays Center a real calendar event, once every other year.

Also require independent doctors (paid for by the league) to certify any injuries that result in a guy not playing, and fine players/teams for "load mgmt".

@voodoo love the Warriors. Steph is still the best ticket in town but I like Poole and Lee, and when Klay, Kaminga and Whitehead come back they will have a very decent squad.

I think this is exactly why they got Westbrook, to allow Lebron to take time off, both within games and for whole games. It makes much more sense than having them on the court together

Russ has been trying hard to facilitate so far, he looks like he is playing within himself. But he has the game to take over on nights when the others are down. And this Lakers team is better than the team he played with in WSH and OKC (post-HD era)

Is he playing within himself, or is is he getting older and slower? I've only seen very limited minutes this season, but it almost feels like he's accepting the fact that he won't always be able to drive to the bucket, so he's passing instead. I'm a little bit surprised at how nicely it's working though.

Just watched the condensed version and Russ had his best game. Efficient, low TO’s and aggressive offensively. Looked a bit more comfortable working worth AD too.

Russ works perfectly with AD. A big who can stretch the floor and give Russ space to attack the hoop. It's ideal really.

It's just LeBron and Russ that don't fit together.

Once they sort out the lineups, they will be fine

Bulls have had a very strong start to the season. 6 wins and only 1 loss.

They smashed the Celtics today and DeMar DeRozan scored 37 points.

This could be the year the Bulls get back into the playoffs.

So far their small ball lineups have troubled other teams. LaVine, DeRozan, AC, Ball + one big (Vucevic or Jones) has been tough and also fun to watch.

Sources: Simmons refusing 76ers' mental help

The Philadelphia 76ers have grown increasingly frustrated with Ben Simmons' unwillingness to meet with team doctors to discuss his mental readiness, sources told ESPN.

This just keeps getting worse for Philly. Simmons continues to reveal himself as a total pussy, trade value craters

Allegations of racism and misogyny within the Phoenix Suns: Inside Robert Sarver's 17-year tenure as owner

An ESPN investigation, featuring interviews with more than 70 current and former Suns employees, reveals accusations of racism and misogyny against owner Robert Sarver -- and a toxic workplace many employees believe his behavior emboldened.

Looks like the knives are out for Sarver. Ironic because the Suns are doing as well as they have for a long time

    Steph Curry aye?

The Hawks had a real crack at the Warriors, so Steph steps up with a mazy 50, with 10 assists for good measure

    Super even comp this year

Ice Trae comes in starts the first with some sweet shooting and has 21 by the half. Steph says, now now young buck, sit back and enjoy the view. They threw Hunter and Reddish at him and he torched.

Funniest thing is some salty Hawks announcer thinking it’s no big deal 😀

    How bout dem Knicks

They have good balance in their 8-9 man rotation. Randle is playing less iso ball than last season. Still a little too much for my liking, but it’s better. RJ who I’m a fan of, is more consistent. D Rose is great off the bench with the experienced Taj Gibson. Fournier and Kemba are a solid backcourt.

I can't believe they sat Jokic for a game for that push on Morris

Cop a cheap shot, old mate wanders off, you shove him in the back with good reason, he writhes around like a bitch for 5 minutes, you get a game, he gets a fine?

Also Morris is a bitch who would love to be a tough guy. Hot tip dickhead, don't cheap shot the large angry eastern European

@mariner4life love the Joker. Loved that he didn’t just cop that cheap shot from Morris. I can tell you that if Chris Paul retaliated like Joker, CP3 would’ve just copped a fine….

So glad the Nuggets won that one. I’m a big fan of Spoelstra, but I can’t stand the Heat team. If Oladipo was playing I’d probably dislike them less.
