For all the talk from Plummer about wanting to dominate in the forwards, we are picking a mobile pack over a ball running, physical pack, starting at eight. And obviously, I think Akira and Blackadder should be switched but if they give Akira a good 30mins we can get the impact we'll need from his defence.
So I worry out plan is to go wide too early still, we look a better side when we flood the breakdown and do a few pick and goes before using the pace out wide. We've not picked the team to play that way though.

Having given this some thought, I can't see the tight five doing enough for this mobile loose forward trio. Sure they all work harder than an ugly stripper, but where's the physical impact to dominate collisions?

Lowe would have run in lots of tries against some of the bunny teams if he was ever selected by the ABs.

He's kind of Jordan lite, just not the pace. I reckon he would have made a gun halfback.

Lowe could’ve made a gun league hooker. Quick, rugged and high workrate.

That's how I like my hookers.

    You missed cheap

@machpants I don't believe I did. Just ask the chiefs.

Bladder more physical than Akira: suggest Fozzie tries tackling each of them.

Wouldn't think he would need too, just work off the KPIs etc, pretty straight forward to see who is more physical in a game!

Disappointing news. I wanted proof that NZRU has infiltrated all levels of rugby and a last minute Special Forces covid operation would have done nicely.

What?! No Covid Suzie strain?! I guess I'll have to resort to blaming the ref. Again.

When and why did Ireland switch from the national green to the priestly purple? Anyone know?

Might be some mashed purple potatoes on the menu?

Maybe it is colour coding from a Covid PCR test?
Edit: it appears to be influenced from Leicester and Ulster and is an away jersey thing

I can see why they chose purple, the red and blue wavelengths blur the eye and make the player look far bigger.than the players in green. Clever use of optics, Ireland!

Try Leinster (and I'll try not typing while thinking of a nice cheese sandwich).
