Ravindra does a version of Mitchell; two consecutive boundaries and then caught at slip...

Sorry guys late into the conversation but I really think they’ve missed a trick not picking Wagner yes its spinning but Somerville didn’t show much apart from some batting. But that’s not what he’s in the team to do it’s to take wickets.

If he’s in there for his batting he’s leaving it late to make an impact

If Somerville can somehow bat for another full session today, I suppose it'll at least reduce the margin of defeat further down that record list...

That's one of the more optimistic reviews...

A pair of second ball ducks for Timmy.

Great ammo for the “Timmy never bats responsibly” fern bandwagon.

You seem to mention it more often than the bandwagoners 🙂

Timmy can bat however he likes. In turn I'd never bat him higher than nine (if they're ever mad enough to put me in charge...)

    A Cricinfo comment just for @MN5 🙂

Jigar Shah: "Two senior pros of NZ in absence of KW, played like a slogger. Disappointing to see such rash shots from Taylor as well as Southee."

Yeah maybe they’ve all given up ? I always stood up for him.

Fair to say Somerville hasn’t pressed his claims too much in this test match. Jeepers.

Jigar Shah has obviously never seen Southee bat before

The limping dog has been put out of it's misery...

Oh well, looking on the bright side, it will be early to bed tonight at least.

What an abject display of batting this morning. The middle and lower order gets the chance to try and bat for as long as they want, and they don't even last 45 minutes.

We've made that list; the 20th biggest defeat by runs in test history (all nations): https://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/content/records/283901.html in a match where only the third bowler in test history took all ten wickets in an innings for us...

That’s the end of one of the more bizarre tests I remember.

Does Ajaz get MOM ? he did get 14 wickets…..unfortunately his ten teammates were varying degrees of utter shite.

You can’t say India had an individual performance close to that, Ashwin took a few for fuck all though.

ha ha, that is such a black crap thing to do..and we were all hoping we were past that
....almost feel they need to apologise to Ajaz
    yuck

@donsteppa India's biggest victory by runs.

We didn't need that many more to get behind SA - similar looking game.

ABdV doing better than any of our guys.

@mn5 Two not outs for Ajaz, as well.

We obviously would have won if he'd been supported! 🙂

    Ashwin has 8/42

    Agarwal 150 & 62

You have to give it to Ajaz really, unless you're one of those people who believes it has to go to someone in the winning team. His is the performance that will be talked about 100 years from now.

Edit: In fact, Ajaz has 4 not outs in the series.
