@mn5 all depends on the story they decide to tell, very early to talk about arcs being completed.
Look at Maul in the Clone Wars, by that rational his was done in Episode 1.
Yeah that whole Crimson Dawn thing in Solo potentially has legs, could be interesting what they do there although I doubt ( hope ) a Solo sequel isn’t in the works.

I think they are finishing that story in the comics.

Yeah and Wookiepedia is good for filling in blanks although there’s lots of confusion as to what is Canon or not.
Both Maul AND Fett were brought back from the dead purely cos the fans love them.

Hmm. Not bad. But that fight scene with the ninjas was shit. Hope it gets better.
At least cool to finally find out how he survived.
Some of the reviews online are mixed. They make a good point where his ‘arc’ was kinda completed in Mando and we don’t really need to see much more. Will be interesting how things pan out
Yeah we'll need alot more to establish how and why he's headed this way. Looking at him now you'd think he's tired and due for retirement and his much more virile and enthusiastic sidekick should be the leader.
How'd a stormtrooper get in the Sarlac pit btw?

I’m assuming one of those green lizards freaked out and threw him off while they were out on patrol, I’m not sure how keen his mates would have been to rescue him

And leave his number one to die like a coward?
He coulda scooped her up too
But to me he didn’t seem the same guy who took out all those Storm Troopers in Mando. Shouldn’t he be even stronger than he was then ? ( given he has been in the bacta tank )

thinking about this, im putting it down to Stormtroopers are just shitter fighters than trained assassin/bounty hunters (whatever these dudes were)
also, cant remember, have we seen the jetpack work since he got it back, for flight. wondering if its still just damaged from RotJ, same reason he couldn't fly out of the sarlac pit

I'm thinking the writers put a lot less thought into these things than fandom

At the moment the writers are the biggest fans. They have been filling plot holes and adding very subtle Easter Eggs. I think we will find it explained.

It might be having issues to be fair and yeah those guys would be way tougher than Stormtroopers. I know six jumped down initially but did more join the fight ? The Gamoreans took out a couple as did Boba and Fennick then more ran off ?
In saying that Boba looked pretty unprepared initially…..
Still, I’m excited as all hell about tonight’s episode.

I'm just going to flush the dunny on that particular fight scene. It was shit all round and hopefully soon forgotten.
The funny thing is that despite his huge popularity, we know sweet fa about BF. We know his background but his motivation, goals etc are completely unknown. Right now he seems too chilled and naive to be a crime boss but hopefully they flesh out his personality more in the coming episodes.

@rancid-schnitzel have you watched clone wars? Quite a bit is fleshed out in that, he basically wants to be the big dog, to surpass his father, also has no love of Jedi for obvious reasons and would happily knock off a few
On paper is pretty clearly a bad guy…but we love him

Seen a few but that's still a couple of decades removed. Maybe his time with the Sand People has changed him?
He was hands down my favourite figure. His popularity is crazy when considering he only got like a minute of screen time.

I have two major issues with this show.
(1) His age. Tem is 61 and looks it and moves like it. Boba would be about 40 at this stage. That's a pretty massive difference.
(2) I just don't see Boba bonding with the sand people. They enslaved him, beat the shit out him, then took him out to the middle of nowhere to find moisture fruit that he wasn't allowed to drink himself. This is the guy who served Darth Vader and Jabba the Hutt. After killing that creature he'd escape and then go back and extract revenge. It doesn't make sense for him to bond with them. Maybe he had a previous affinity with them? Mando certainly did. Perhaps there's a history between the Mandalorians and sand people? Otherwise it just goes against all existing knowledge about this guy.
