I have two major issues with this show.
(1) His age. Tem is 61 and looks it and moves like it. Boba would be about 40 at this stage. That's a pretty massive difference.
(2) I just don't see Boba bonding with the sand people. They enslaved him, beat the shit out him, then took him out to the middle of nowhere to find moisture fruit that he wasn't allowed to drink himself. This is the guy who served Darth Vader and Jabba the Hutt. After killing that creature he'd escape and then go back and extract revenge. It doesn't make sense for him to bond with them. Maybe he had a previous affinity with them? Mando certainly did. Perhaps there's a history between the Mandalorians and sand people? Otherwise it just goes against all existing knowledge about this guy.I can dig the age thing, being in the Sarlacc and under the twin suns ages a person prematurely, that’s fine with me. I also have no doubt he would have been pretty fucked up by being in the pit for as long as he was. His injuries might be permanent.
As for your second point I think perhaps he’s thinking he needs people to help him in his plan to take over Tattooine ?
They’re great warriors ( which makes Obi Wans comment in ANH about the blast points being too accurate for Sand People hilariously untrue but there you go ). Also being humbled in the staff fight would perhaps make him realise he can learn from these guys ? ( again this might be due to his Sarlacc injuries, one would imagine a prime Boba being excellent at all fighting styles )
Is that legit what happened? The Sarlacc pit aged him 20 years?
As to the second, I'm not sure if he was thinking about anything other than survival at that stage. I guess it makes him even more awesome if he was thinking with an eye on future Tatooine domination but that does seem a stretch. While perhaps necessary for providing backstory, I have to say I found the whole Sand People thing rather boring and drawn out. Let's get on with the Hutts and Evil Choowie!
Also he is a clone, ( I know, I know, a pure one who didn’t have the growth acceleration the others did ) but who knows how they age down the line ?
I’m quite enjoying the “Dances with Wolves” style flashbacks but yeah I agree, it’s time to move on with how he deals with the baddies who have emerged. Some nerd talk is that he might join forces with evil Chewie though ? ( apparently they worked together in the past )
I reckon it’s a safe bet the Hutts are both toast though.

i can buy him as a 40 something year old with decent injuries, i honestly think we're only having this conversation because we know the Tem is 60, he might be a bit slower than you would expect but when he stand its straight backed and i think he look powerful, just have to suspend a bit of disbelief and move on

The Wookie brawl and seeing the Rancor was fucken awesome though. Also did those guys seriously carry the Hutts all the way up the hill to the palace ? It’s still unclear how people get to and from the palace.
Agree 100% on those Back to the future looking kids, Christ those colours look fucken stupid compared to the rest of the planet.

Was a complete waste of Wookie IMHO. These socalled elite assassins are more incompetent than the Storm Troopers.
Those kids were Holdo level shit.

Yeah both my boys hated the kids too which is not ideal given that woulda been the demographic the writers were going for.

They clearly don't know their demographic. Ffs I'm old and lame but even I know that kids would consider that shit. My youngest was scathing.

Yeah not the best, getting a little close to actually doing damage to bobas rep, he’s kind of just sitting in this palace with Finnec and the gamorians doing fuck all
Far cry from Jedi when Jabba had hoards trying to be in his crew
Thought we’d be getting a bit more Boba actually kicking some arse rather than just going back and forward between the palace and town hall
The bike gang may LOOK like they rode straight off a carrousel but they got straight in when fighting the Wookie

What's ridiculous is that it appears Boba is living in a largely empty palace with only Finnec, 2 large green pigs armed only with knives and a robot. But I guess he's now added the cast of some crap video game. He may soon crack double figures. Hardly the best starting point for claiming Jabba's mantle.

Was stoked to realise his droid is voiced by Matt berry though!
