I prefer the top one. Look, I'll do them both - together - if that's the deal.

Not really enough skin to rate it on The Mariner Scale. But the top one got into the classy lingerie at one point, so she gets the choccies.

 You like the horsey one? Different strokes I guess.

Vikander is odd in that she doesn't photograph very well, but is stunning on film. I knew a girl like that who I met in Vietnam, stunner in person, show people photos of her and they'd be meh.

Anyway, movie review.

X Men Apocalypse. Better than I thought it would be. Could have done with trimming 20 odd minutes of running time. I give it 3 Olivia Munn's and half a Sansa Stark out of 5.

The Lion King. Now my 3 1/2 year olds favourite movie. Wants to watch it all the time. Still a very good watch despite its age, and quite emotional when old Mufasa dies. Great soundtrack.

I am Wrath:

John Travolta plays a family man who's wife get's killed, cops are all inept pencil pushers but, hey presto, JT remembers he used to be some special ops agent, what an original premise. Cue lots of killing of drug pushers, corrupt cops and the head honcho who happens to be the Governor, not even gonna write "spoiler" cos there's nothing to "spoil" with this kind of flick. JT was looking pretty pudgy, his hairpiece is horrific and he's making a movie that Liam Neeson would have thumbed his nose at.....his wise cracking Black Ops "partner" is good in every scene he is in though.

Surely they couldn't afford to film in Auckland, imagine the budget if they had to blow up a townhouse in Remera or Grey Lynn

Really good. Inevitable disappointment from pursuing (genuine/radical) novelty, and the sorry state for a human where it is necessary.

8.5/10. Excellent film.
Deadpool

Hmmmmmm

Maybe it's because this film was hyped up to ridiculous levels, but I wasn't blown away. Yes there were some awesome parts but there was a fair slice of meh as well.

I hate Ryan Reynolds but actually thought he was good in this so that wasn't a factor.

I do really like the anti-hero thing. Much more interesting than the other superhero movies imho.

But yeah. Solid 6, maybe 7 out of 10.

To review it a bit more in depth.......

Ragtops plan for years to get revenge on an earlier attack where the main bad guys survive, main bad guys are clichéd "weapons dealers". They spend a couple of years meticulously planning an event where all the world leaders wil be present. Plan goes perfectly as they manage to infiltrate the police, government, army etc....Said Ragheads don't count on wise cracking bodyguard played by Gerard Butler who changes the schedule ( if only the rest of the world could be as smart as Americans ) and save the President. Morgan Freeman comes on the screen for some wise words. Butler and the Pres escape multiple brushes with death, Butler has a magical field that deflects ANY bullet from his path, all the A-rabs up against him don't. Butler then
Saves the president in the nick of time from being executed on TV whilst possibly killing more bad guys than Arnie manages in Commando
Everyone cheers and high fives.

Thank GOD America is so great, the rest of the world is so inept, cowardly and clueless compared to them.

Some really bad special FX at times too.

Awful music that always plays in Movies like this ( think independence day, Armageddon etc )

1 TR out of 5 if only cos the banter between Butler and the pres made me chuckle occasionally. Can only assume Liam Neeson, and then John Travolta, turned the part down as they were busy making other implausible bullshit.

10 Cloverfield Lane - half decent thriller (says horror) with John Goodman as a doomsday prepper in his bunker with 2 others, but seems to be a bit more going on than he is letting on...

Watchable, but as with any movie of this genre you start think why did you do that, why didnt you do that....

Just saw Hunt for the Wilderpeople - wow it was great, way better than expected.

I had no problem with the CYFs lady, she was entirely played for laughs and she got big laughs in the cinema I watched it in.

I saw it with a couple of NZers and a couple of Aussies and they all laughed some much of the humour translated across the dutch.

The stink Warriors line got a huge laugh from all the Kiwi males in the cinema (ok, that might have just been me and a mate).

Really glad it came out over here in Oz.
