Nah you're allowed to go into class to support your child's learning under red, you just can't act as a volunteer unless you're vaxxed, boosted by march. It's not level lockdowns.

That's a good point, after the intro/onsite days. Drop the kid, and go. Let the teacher deal with the tantrums/tears, if any. Within seconds of parents going they're fine, 99% of the time. Staying around just prolongs it

So, have brought Miss Boo Jr down to the Sunny Coast to sign up (not quite move in) to her new Uni accommodation.
Got her to drive, me in car with her, Mrs Boo following, as she had never done motorways etc. Did awesome with minimal Dad input.
Win!
Got to student flat place: privately run shared accommodation, it's not like when I went to uni, it's a bunch of 4 kids in a complex of what I'd call flats. But fuck, right outside her door is the fucking swimming pool ...
Win!
And she meets one on her flat mates, who she used to play netball against back in the day ...
Win!
Made up room. Would quite like to live there myself
Win!
Head off mid arvo to where we had booked for overnight (x2) apartment. Huge fucking apartment, overlooking Cottontree Beach in Maroochydore.
Fucking huge Win!
Miss Boo Jr exhausted, finds spa bath looking out over beach, and watermelon cruisers (Dad had purchased), with the weather closing in. Sat in bath and enjoyed a drink ...
Meanwhile, as I ensured we were appropriately supplied, Mrs Boo finds Karate Kid on Netflix.
Win!
And takeaways at the awesome Indian down stairs ...
Win!
Sleep ... and Mrs Boo and I do brunch from the cafe downstairs... and she finds another movie on Netflix... Absolute Power ... (hold that thought ... )
.. then later MBJ goes meeting with fast food joint that she's been able to transfer employment ...
Win!
Head home. Set MBJ jobs based on requirements of accommodation complex and fast food employment joint. MBJ joins Mrs Boo and I in awesome apartment living room.
