@kiwiwomble After the abortion that was Jurassic World 2 I have zero interest in this movie. JW1 was awesome though.
this series should have been killed long ago
...I will probably still watch it as I am sure when its available there will be absolute rubbish also out

@nepia i get that, was really disappointed with JW2...it even started ok with the volcano and the run to the beach etc...and then they set it all in a big house like a thriller or horror film, i also judge films that are almost entirely set at night, just because dark background is cheaper and easier for their CGI, this looks a bit more like JW1 with some globe trotting thrown in, i assume their going around trying to round all the escaped ones before they start breeding etc?
Just before the end I said there's no way they're stupid enough do blah, blah, blah, - then they did it and I swore at the big screen as I was leaving the cinema.

Sing 2.
Same sort of thing as the first one, equally as brilliant. Look, if I didn't have kids I probably wouldn't go and watch, but I do. So I did. It's really well done, like most modern animated films. Had a few laugh out loud moments (once again, the auditions are hilarious) and even had a bit of emotion in parts. Really enjoyable, thoroughly recommend.
Also a reminder of just how excellent many U2 songs are. Shame that Bono has had to go all preachy.
5 perfectly cast Matthew McConaughy's out of 5 Auditions.

So, for no reason at all I'm channel surfing and come across 'Highlander'.
My god what a terrible movie.
How:
- Did I like this back in the day?
- Was this so popular?
- Was Christopher Lambert ever considered an actor?
Funny as fuck to rewatch now.
Admittedly the sound track by Queen is kinda ok

Jake has done some dire stuff mixed in with the good. Most of his dreadful stuff is so arty like itās supposed to be bad except for the very clever people that āget itā.
To be fair - he did an excellent job of portraying a man disconnected from reality with nothing to make him likeable.
-
@booboo I started it a few years ago, realised it had aged terribly so turned it off after 5 or 10 mins so it wouldn't sully my good memories of it.

Wow. I haven't watched it for over 30 years, and only watched it the once. But, this still be the most upsetting post I've read for a long time.

Not to mention Sean Connery's Scottish brogue playing an apparently Spanish immortal who went to Japan for a while and brought back a samurai sword

I think the final nail in the coffin was the sneakers and jeans that Connor wore
