I did once see Fripp play a solo show of Frippertronics in the early/mid 80s, just him seated on a stool with his guitar and a reel-to-reel on a chair next to him. He played for an hour, I sat feet away directly in front of him and was completely hypnotized. I have very few correspondences from musicians, but he wrote me a lovely handwritten letter about 25 years ago that I treasure and invited me to visit him in New York, and sadly could not make it. (I’d written him about his solo “Blessing of Tears” album, and the accompanying long essay about the death of his mother. The album is 8 live versions essentially of the same song, but is so sad & beautiful, powerful and moving it feels like one long piece. It’s a fucking epic recording.)

NZs best Psychedelic band playing a crap ballad to get TV coverage and make some coin.
They were apparently a pretty cool band of the time but this mum and dad friendly tune is pish.
Their album 'Tropic of Capricon' (which excludes that song is very collectable and sells for decent money.

Nothing wrong with the song, it's a really good one... the brilliant thing about playing songs is depending on your mood on the day, you might prefer to listen to a slower song or one with much more grunt to it.
