<p>In one of the many links they showed the bit last year where she cried when Campbell left and Mike McRoberts had to read the bulletin. In amongst all the heartfelt grief on Stuff and going on about Mike McRoberts ( OMG he is just SUCH a pro for doing that ) was when I made the fatal mistake of commenting on FB that Campbell didn't see things from all sides and "I was one of da haterz". Anyway, quite tempted to take one for the team and do the same next week cos you can be sure someone will wheel out the flowers and tissues and all of that other shit and it'll be repeated on Stuff all of fucken next week.</p>

(Richie McCaw probably doesn't exist, its just Hilary in a suit. Ditto Willie Apiata and all the cancer researchers and homicide detectives and everyone else who actually makes a fucking difference in the world.)</p> -

<p>Well the sad thing is that she truly IS a hero to so many fucken lame sadasses out there just like John Dickhead Campbell as I found out from my ill advised negative comment on Stuff last year. I'm assuming if there are any ferners out there who are like that they are doing the sensible thing and keeping their fingers off the keyboards.</p>

<p>I see in one of the ( many) articles that Paul Henry has "quite the do" planned. I don't think there'd be enough free piss in the world to make that tolerable to attend.</p> -
<p>It just hasn't really sunk in yet. Doesn't feel real. I guess the next time I tune into 3 news and there is no Hilary it will really hit home. That won't be for a while though, as it's been years since I last watched the 6 o'clock news.</p>
