For all the talk about BBBR no longer being 'BB' are we just assuming that Whitelock can lift further? Nothing about him screamed 'pick me' last night.

Whitelock got a few key lineout steals, made tackles and hit rucks, pretty much what you want your lock to be doing. Agree he is not the presence in the loose he once was but if he is doing the core role well and leading by example then that is good for me given the current locking stocks. Savea / Cane / Akira with Sotutu and SB on the bench for me.

I do wonder if Foster has seen the writing on the wall with Whitelock & BBBR's ages. Wouldn't be surprised to see Tupou Vaii & Josh Lord getting more and more time this series partnering Sam or BBBR.
