I just read a post in the Stuff discussion that mentioned the MABs being named tomorrow.

Considering we have always had a huge gap behind Smith it is good we have competition at 9, even if they never reach Smith status at least they are putting pressure on each other.

@Stargazer If they are taking these games seriously, which they will be, I would be picking a larger squad so all players are training together. There will be less disruption if there are injuries.

Bit surprised no Jacob Norris or Cortez Ratima. Note that Kaleb Trask and Jonah Lowe are not there either, reflective of Chiefs back 3. But Shaun Stevenson is (and not Reihana)... Otherwise that looks like a plausible squad of the best available.

Seems very strange that you could make a nearly all Chiefs backline from that lot considering how poor the Chiefs backs have been.

Why is it so hard to find wingers these days?
