Ireland tour to NZ 2022

Another Irish fan here. Can't wait for this tour to get underway.
Main worries for Ireland are lack of depth at loosehead, half back and out half. We have lots of good 9's in the Irish provinces to back up Gibson Park but Farrell insists on sticking with Conor Murray. Then there's Casey who can be too impulsive and resorts to box kicking too often like Murray. If Sexton gets Injured we're gone.
A few Irish names for kiwis to look out for during the series that you might not be familiar with:
Dan Sheehan - hooker. 23 year old who has been starting for Leinster since Kellehers injury. Massive unit, very physical and accurate with his throws. Himself and Kelleher (who is out injured) are two of the most promising young lads in Irish rugby.
Gavin Coombes - 8. At 24 he's been in and around the squad for a while but yet to crack the first XV due to injuries. Another big lad at 6'6" and a very dynamic ball carrier.
James Hume - centre. Arguably most in form centre in Ireland. He's been Ulster's best player for much of the season.
Jordan Larmour - wing/fullback. Very elusive runner, his change of pace and footwork send a lot of would be tacklers to the floor - well worth a quick YouTube.

Interested by your comments about Coombes. Certainly looks an imposing player from what I’ve seen of him at Munster. Will they play him at no8 or lock?
Ireland loose forward play has been excellent over the last 3 years so will watching closely any of the new fellas and whether they go hard to the ball when it hits the deck like we have come accustomed to

Part of it was playing at the end of a long year, but we were very poor in the forwards anyway, Ireland were much better there so controlled the match... the key area for the ABs is the breakdown area where most of the possession is contested, in the first test we've got to be very aggressive at the breakdown from the start, have solid set pieces & hopefully our playmakers at halfback & 1st-five make good decisions.

Good to see larmour back in the side. Dangerous player but seems to have had injury/ form? issues for last few years

@ACT-Crusader He's only played the odd game at lock to fill gaps. He moves between 6 and 8 for munster. Ireland are bringing 6 locks already if you include Baird who's listed as a back row so I'd say we're unlikely to see Coombes at lock.

7. Timoney

The occasional injection of "Rugby Championship is just friendlies", "Prime Botha would kill you all", and "<constant bland pub-level commentary>" users - injects humour into this place.

I engaged with him because I also tried to bring him in to the fold and up his game. A little “coaching” with some ribbing to start with and yeah he just came across as a bit simple and tone deaf.

Wouldn't worry about that. Furlong and Porter are both off their game, and after them, there's nobody.
Surprised other teams have not worked this out before now. This July it's coming home to roost - the famed prop development programme has ground to a halt.

@Derm-McCrum Tom O'Toole looked rock solid at scrum time against Kitshoff in the URC semi. He's very young for a tighthead so has a very bright future ahead. Bealham has never let us down either.
I agree on the loose head side our depth is poor. However i think Porter will have an easier time against the all blacks than he did in the champions Cup against Toulouse and La Rochelle. He is steadily improving since moving to loose head so I'd be optimistic in another 2 years time our prop situation will have improved.

You're right - O'Toole and Loughman both need to come of age on this tour - there is that developmental side to the tour and squad that will be interesting.
