People getting triggered by the fat jokes is absolutely pathetic.
-
Im not anti Hansen , we had some great times under his coaching , but he did push hard for fozzie to take over once he had finished ,
I remember the glowing praise leading into the 2019 WC saying he is coaching so well , he is the man for the job,

Who is triggered? I said the jokes were tired. And they were.
Maybe someone is triggered by the thought of someone being triggered?

Ian Foster must go as part of an All Blacks rebuild Marc Hinton 13:00, Jul 18 2022 OPINION: Ian Foster is surely a goner. Among the laundry list of issues the board of New Zealand Rugby has to work through over the next few days around the All Blacks, that decision should take the least of their time. The board, we now know unequivocally, got it patently wrong when they extended Foster’s contract as All Blacks head coach through to the 2023 World Cup last year based on back-to-back home victories over a weak Wallabies side. Now these guardians of the game in this country must put their hands up and concede (as I noted at the time) that the decision was premature, and horrendously erroneous. Any other course of action could lead to the provinces wondering whether they have the right people running the game in this country.@KiwiMurph Hinton and his fellow journos are part of the problem as they aren't prepared to ask any hard questions of NZR, Foster and co.

I don't care if we lose against SA.
We need serious pruning and we need it now.
The time for risk is now. No more delay.
We need the young ones to start. Bower, ST, Vaai, Paps and QT
Chuck in another young prop. Our props have been dreadful.
Test out JB at 12, Jordan at 15 if thats what they want to try.
Try BB as impact sub.
Cant believe Sotutu and Grace haven't had a decent outing.
Shift Ardie from 8.
Need break dancing 100%, no other option.
About 4 fantastic older ABs need to retire.
Keep Whitelock, has GOAT like qualities. Make him captain, he'll last until 2023
Lets do it@BerniesCorner said in Foster must go:

There’s nothing more that I hate than losing to the Boks.

@Tim said in Foster must go:
@Bovidae Are they allowed to?
Ratpoo used to hold a massive grudge against rugby in NZ because he claimed he was never allowed to ask hard questions or was snubbed because he did. Don't know how true that was.
The biggest problem is that NZ is a small place and shows like the Breakdown have to be 'nice' in case they lose access to players and coaches. Sky have to 'win' the rights to show the game from NZR so have to toe the line. -
@Tim said in Foster must go:

Why would they even go if they can't? When I've watched the press conferences often it is the overseas journalists who ask the most relevant questions. I don't buy that they can't for being afraid of losing access to the ABs.

Agreed - I think it's telling that even Hinton is calling for Foster to be canned.

@Crucial NZR own shares in Sky don't they? The Breakdown is released on the ABs YouTube channel.

Goldie is always very measured in his criticism.
Unlikely we'll ever get anything in the middle ground between Slight pandering and click bait though. This has been evident for a long time. Remember the fluffing that Stuff used to give Hammett? We need the old school respected journos like DJ Cameron back.

@chimoaus said in Foster must go:
Did I read correctly that Foster is on $1,000,000 per year salary? No wonder he is reluctant to go.
Exactly. It's not like he has any prospect of getting anything like that anywhere else. Maybe KFC will give him a role somewhere. He has after all single-handedly kept several of their franchises afloat.

TP McLean will be sitting up there in heaven (or down there in the warmer climate) wishing he was around now to go hard at Fozzie and NZR.

It's not as funny as the people that keep making those jokes think it is.
People using the term triggered unironically are what is pathetic.
