De Groot in and Dickson as a travelling replacement player is the only good news?
Cane still captain?
All that build up to name nearly the same squad but including another criminal?

The bulk of the Steinlager series squad has been retained as the All Blacks set their sights on the Lipovitan-D Rugby Championship and Bledisloe Cup Tests.
The squad features the return of Highlanders forwards Ethan de Groot and Shannon Frizell, who have been selected in the full-time squad after providing injury cover during the Steinlager series.
With Angus Ta’avao, Brodie Retallick and Jack Goodhue making their way back from suspension and injury, the All Blacks selectors have called in temporary cover. Braydon Ennor, Tyrel Lomax and the uncapped Josh Dickson will join the squad for the South African leg of the tournament. For anyone who hasn't noticed: Cane is still the captain.

Hoskins was already in the squad. Perhaps he will actually play this time.

Have to feel for PGS, dont get me wrong, was lucky to be there to start with...but i dont think he did a hell of a lot wrong in his limited time...and then not even in the squad
@Kiwiwomble wonder if he will get another shot really, Jacobson, Grace, MMT, Robinson plus several others likely close enough to get a call up too.

@Stargazer oh we all noticed.

Joke of a squad. Ofa and Nepo still in while Lomax is preferred over Jager and Newell. Frizell wtf.
I hope the Boks win 2-0, only way we can expect changes to this pathetic coaching setup.

wouldnt be so sure...an away double in SA would likely feature as a harder ask than a home series vs Ireland (when settign KPIs, if you have them of course)

Ian Foster says "I am strong. I am resilient. I believe I have a great feel and relationship with my players. I'm strategic and I'm also accountable. I am really excited to give you the chance to show you what this team is made of."
-
Poor old PGS. Should never have been there. Doubt he plays for NZ again. And now ineligible for Fiji.

Lomax was always going to be the next TH prop, as they brought him into camp in Auckland for Laulala.
The only way to see wholesale changes was with a change of coach/selectors.

I don't get the Fozzie love for Shannon F or Ennor but hey. Did Shannon get picked instead of Grace I wonder? Or PGS I suppose. Very conservative team but who really did we expect were bolters that didn't make it? Sullivan? I'm surprised RTS and Big Leicester (and less so DH) remain. Interesting to see Perofeta there. Yup, more conservative in the forwards (apart from replacement Dickson). I just can't see how they keep picking Ennor though, is catching the ball not a needed skill?

i fucking knew it was PGS's fault
even when it was the coaching/execution/talent
i knew it was PGS all along
