I thought that the concept was easy to understand.
Not a second XV. Not necessarily players that would be next cab in a spate of injuries and also not necessarily the U20s.
Add to those current ABs that are doing Ok a bunch of fresh faces with high ceilings and accelerate their progress.
The likes of Zarn Sullivan as example. Anyone with half a brain can see the talent and time on ball this guy has. Instead of making him wait, chuck him in the pool now.
There’s quite a few like him if you look around.
Our seconds are seconds mostly because they aren’t even as good as the current mob and probably never will be.
Let’s get the future a head start.
