Watching Townsville, and then Squidge analysis of Wobblies win over Boks, it is apparent that Rennie tactic of 10 standing 3-5m deeper worked better than Foster flat positioning.
Couple of reasons:- Flat and Bok outside in rush leaves no margin for error in passing. In both Townsville and last Saturday ABs made numerous errors under pressure. And flat means easier for Boks loosies to swoop.
- Bok system means 14 and 13 come in on slight fish hook/inverted dog leg shape. Having to cover the extra metres accentuates that and creates a gap, which Rennie had designed plays to exploit.
We’ll have to wait and see whether or not Foster has seen fit to introduce variation…

Sadly I expect this to be the case. This might be my breaking point with this team.

Some may not like the truth but Akira doesn’t cut it. Reaction time too slow at this level.Why on earth would you claim Akira doesn't cut it when discussing Frizzell coming in? He got points as he was a fresh replacement able to keep up with the attack. In the last Irish test Akira created points out of strength and speed.
The first part of the post was obviously a joke (both ways)
The second a possible reason for looking elsewhere. There wasn’t much strength and speed in Akiras play on the weekendHe managed to make more metres and tackles than Scooter so once he gets the "look" down pat he'll be right.

The quicker the Springbokke forget about last night the better. Suppose Faf and KL Arendse will be out. RasNaber won't change much maybe Kriel on the wing and H Jantjies in. Was enjoying the bit of phase play at the start until they realized the All Blacks catch a cold in the air. Some of the Boks will need a rest at sometime. Maybe bring Ox and Tank on the bench, start with Kitshoff.
Can't see the Boks losing against the absolute rabble in Black at the moment. We're a shower of shit. Worst AB team of my lifetime. If you're a Boks fan get a ticket to Ellis Park if you possibly can. The ABs are going to get whipped.
