True story. Me and a mate were having lunch at Cafe Rouge once and we both went for the trio of seafood starter. Prawns, crab and smoked salmon. The crab was a bit of a grey-ish sludge smeared across the plate and looked, well, unappetising at best. My mate tucked in and I lifted the fork to my mouth and smelt this awful pong of bad seafood. A long argument with the waiter ensued with the chef called in who finally agreed that yes all the crab was tainted. Nothing in the way fo an apology or discount - as expected for the establishment.
After a dissatisfying lunch I asked my mate why he had eaten some of the crab before I complained as it absolutely honked. His answer? "Well i was with this girl last night and had to leave in a hurry this morning..."
