Those that reckon Wun Wun could have dealt to them himself with armour and a club/axe are missing the point that whoever he didn't charge through could easily get him on the flanks so perhaps his battle tactics weren't quite as bad as initially thought and they needed him for the gate at any rate so he needed to stay alive and in some regards fight almost cautiously. Mind you when they were being hemmed in why didn't Ramsay shoot the big guy in the head from the comfort of his horse away from the battle since he's such an amazing shot ?

I don't think I'll ever be convinced that I'd be better off fighting with my bare hands than with a club.

I watched it again too and agree it holds up well. And yeah, I also noticed Sansa wasn't there when he said his hounds were starving. Jon must have gone back and said "Sansa, you'll never guess what Ramsay said after you left..."

Agree with that but if he madly charged into the line even a massive unit like that would get chopped down from the sides and behind very easily.

Fair call, Jon or one of the others would have mentioned it to her.

He's gone which is a shame but I just remembered we still have Walder Frey.

He wouldn't need to charge in. If he had a big club he could just stand there and practice his hook shot, sending Ramsay's men well over the boundary for 6. That would have been funny to see :)

looking at the trailer for the final ep, it would appear Little Finger just turned up cos Sansa asked...she didn't offer or promise herself to him

Trailer makes it look like it will be a pretty average episode though, am sure (hoping) it wont be though.

Sure those things were ruthless in the middle ages when a shitload of blokes used them at masses of people but no way in a million fucken years one guy could hit a slightly built teen who was running ( and should have been zig zagging ).

This isn't the middle ages. There's already precedents that these guys are significantly better shots than earthborn humans. The Blackfish casually put a flaming arrow into a boat as it was going round the corner of a river and that guy from the brotherhood made shots that would have tested Robin Hood and William Tell.

I am not sure why Little Finger is considered a 'bad' guy. he is really just a selfish [pricjk trying to climb to the top of the tree. Pretty much like every other character. In fact he is nicer than most.

It won't match that episode on action scenes but I'm expecting a few plot twists and a cliffhanger ending to keep us all interested :)

I think he would be a bad guy if it suited his agenda, but all he wants is Sansa, but you are right, everything he does is what is best for Little Finger

I am just surprised he would have turned up to help just cos she asked given how she acted towards him the last time they saw one another, unless she had offered herself up.

Hopefully the final episode will be a great follow up to this one, in its favour is that it has the same Director.

Predictions for next week?
Cersie to unleash Wildfire, killing most including Tommin?

Walder Frey to get his just deserts, Arya to dish it out?
Or the Lannisters lead by Jamie do it themselves?

WW and the Night King attack Castle Black, bring down the wall?

Dany and Yara in bed together with Tyrion listening in hiding at the end of the bed.

Anything else?

I haven't seen any of this latest series, but I'm not sure LF's in love with Sansa.

Go back to when he threw Lysa Arren out the moonhole. He said, "I've only ever loved one woman - your sister".

LF's got a fair slate of pretty nasty dealings racked up, Baron. I think he's a definite bad guy and given the number of the worst that have departed it seems a reasonable bet that he'll step up in the next seasons.

It is funny how many of us are so quick to forgive and even like characters like The Hound, Jaime Lannister and even Bron, who all have done some really nasty shit. Yet someone like LF gets continual dislike. I cannot figure out how the author and writers have managed it as realistically his acts havent been that bad... just really self serving. Like everyone else he used the tools he had to get ahead in a brutal world.

It was LF that created this whole 'Game'
Excluding the WW situation, everything comes back to LF.

Convinced Lysa to murder her husband knowing Robert would ask Ned to be his new Hand.
Betrayed Ned Stark.
Murdered Lysa (not a bad thing as she was cray cray)
Gave Sansa to Ramsey ( somehow had no idea how psychotic he was)

LF doesn't wants to sit on the Throne, he just wants someone else to that he can manipulate, the way he does with Robyn (Robert in the books)
