All teams in black that took the field in 2022 will be in the running for adidas New Zealand Team of the Year, and their respective coaches nominated for ASB New Zealand Coach of the Year.
Surely, the Black Ferns and Wayne Smith will take these awards home? The only team and coach that have actually won a big prize! Weird that the ABs and Foster are even in the running for this award. Must be an automatic nomination.

There are some surprising nominees and winners amongst that lot.
So Plumtree was right to select PGS in June.
Still some odd nominees in there though - Josh Ioane for Maori player of the year? Even Grace for Super Rugby, he was having an average season up until the the last few matches and the Maori games.
Shaun Stevenson's original omission from the ABXV again under the microscope.
@Nepia The nominations and award aren't for Māori Player of the Year. They're for Māori All Blacks Player of the Year, so that suggests it's based on their performance for the Māori All Blacks only. I'd have given that award to Grace or Harmon, but Stevenson is a good choice, too.
I agree PGS and Grace's nomination for SRP Player of the Year are odd, considering they only showed good form in part of the competion. PGS in the wrong part of the competition, too.
