I still don't think that Demant was that great, she made far too many errors tactically. But as Captain she gets the credit, I guess

I tend to agree. Smith said that he made her cap because of her approach and willingness to drive his game plan through the team. In pure playing ability she has plenty of weaknesses not least kicking for touch.
Behind the scenes though I think a lot of the success was credited to her so fair dues. -

I love that Stacey has a huge grin since beating the defender near half way, all the way until well after she scored.

Great try to watch but the England 13 will hate the replays. Her baffling decision to pull out of the tackle on Fluhler (watch her drop her arms and hestitate) opened the door very wide.
