@Yeetyaah I drove past Ruakura today and there were heaps of players and others on the field. The WTG will be training full time with the main squad.

Chiefs still haven't filled the vacancy left by Gatland, currently have McMillan, Randall & White on the staff, they're needing a 4th coach.. I'm waiting for Rennie to be announced as a technical coach for the 2023 season.

Jono Gibbes is getting the sack, so there's another option to replace Gatland with the Chiefs forwards.

Talk of the new forwards coach has gone quiet. First, we heard they were wanting to have that decision made before Christmas, but nothing. Maybe an announcement will be made this week as the squad has returned to training. They were looking local.

The Chiefs Rugby Club today announced that Paul Feeney and Ross Filipo will complete the Gallagher Chiefs coaching team for the 2023 season. The experienced duo will take on assistant coaching roles to provide valuable knowledge and guidance to the squad.

I was wondering who would offer Feeney a job. He's too good to be just coaching club level in Harbour.

He had Auckland playing some very good attacking rugby a few years ago. His time at the Blues was brief.. I think he was a useful scapegoat

It's preseason, man I went to a Reds preseason training a few years back, and when I saw everyone in daggy shorts and singlets kind of made me realise yeah it's preseason etc.

Chiefs Insta shows ALB and Sam Cane bronco photos. I assume that means they are nearly caught up on their base programmes to the main group.

There were also some photos of Tupaea doing weights without any obvious strapping on his knee.

Yeah, but I dont think they did the bronco at the same time. Most of the squad did an indoor test and these photos were of them completing it outdoors.

@Crucial these pics still show them also doing bronco in AB camp...just means they doing work at AB and super level I guess
