Anyway, to keep on topic, just finished watching S3 of Jack Ryan.

The problem wth the movies was that although Ryan was a former Marine he didn't use guns when he should have (Clear and Present Danger) which just seemed stupid.

The problem with the TV show is Ryan is Delta, Navy Seal, SAS (all of UK, Aus and NZ), and Spetsnaz all rolled into one super soldier. He could probably beat up Jack Reacher too.

@Bovidae yeah I thought it was a bit meh eh. I feel like there was nothing of value in it, didn't find it all that entertaining (unlike the Ron Swanson episode).

Agree. A nice little back story but not actually necessary and certainly not worth a whole episode when there’s only 9 in the first place.
