@Crucial unless we're going to suddenly see grogu being much more adept at using the force....im not sure it matters either

His 'powers' were hinted at last night. Time with Luke at least explains how he can control his use.

@Nepia some editing and the whole BoBF could have worked better as a few episodes of the Mando, 1-2 episodes showing the back story and then Mando rejoins him for the climax

Or just making a BoBF show full stop instead of making a hybrid?

Because of the clusterfuck of Boba Fett, and I include the Mando episodes, I'm less hyped about this season of Mando.

    I want Andor back.

Got to take them all for their own flavours I guess.

Mando seems to have a huge amount of fan fluffing mixed in but it does, at least, mix in some cool stuff with action scenes amongst the logic jumps.

I'm a big fan of the first two seasons but Faverau and Filoni blotted their copybooks with how they royally fucked up BoBF when they didn't need to. TBF as I'm not an animation guy I'm naturally suspicious of Filoni anyway for his fluffing of the prequels 😉 , but Faverau is usually money baby.

Straight back into the fun show it was in season 1 & 2. Special effects are even better, spending all the money.

I am worried that too much budget might have been blown on the opening action scene and the updated ESB space fight. Hope we don’t get too much cheap stuff to balance it out.

SW doesn’t look like SW when they have these “clean” planets though. The best thing Lucas did was make a sci-fi movie that looked lived in.

Budget looks consistent so far, some truely beautiful shots last episode. Film quality.

Was pretty cool. In the middle of moving house at the moment so watched on phone so wouldn't have got it at the best.

Reflections in the canopy and clouds and large vistas stick out in the memory. Worth looking at on a larger screen

I liked Love and Thunder. I get why some didn’t but I don’t take superhero movies seriously and found parts of it funny.

@Crucial good, if i could choose i would rather have liked it

normally im pretty good at suspending disbelief with plot holes etc, my problems started with cheap looking costumes (after his black outfit in ragnarok) and dodgy CGI that seemed pretty common with Marvel over the last year so by the time i got to the giving kids the power of thor i was done

hoping the CGI stuff was just due to COVID during these shows development and stuff going forward will be better

Watched the latest Bad Batch ep on my flight and it's a really good one.
Just concentrates on Crosshair (who dedicated himself to the Empire) and his slow dawning realisation of what assholes they are.
Really good piece of the puzzle as to the changeover from Clones to Stormtroopers.

Do you mean the new start montage of helmets? It's pretty cool. They have also done the same for Bad Batch

@Crucial yeah that is cool too, without leaving spoilers this episode had a bit more action than the first, i thought the action on Mandalor was a good watch, felt movie like.

Did they use the same cinematographer from the last season of GoT. I could see anything half the time.

I won't spoil things but had a chuckle at the 'It was a trap" line.
