He was playing for Waikato last season before leaving during the NPC to go to SA. Let's just say he moves around.

Hospitalised and then operated, Ruru was sent a few weeks later to the European Centre for Sports Rehabilitation in Capbreton for treatment.

Hirini will complete the HSBC World Series with the Black Ferns Sevens in Toulouse before taking up her contract at the Yokkaichi based Mie PEARLS club. Following the Taiyo Seimei Women’s Sevens Series 2023 Hirini will return to New Zealand to prepare for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games with the Black Ferns Sevens.

That doesn't compute. They've already got at least 3 better midfielders, plus potential in Lam.
