@Kruse I havent got to that point, but thats his job isnt it, where he is analysing and making notes, so I dont think it seems that far fetched.
possible spoiler >
I had more issue with the scene the hotel when they were trying to escape, the fact he was there c 1030 and the hotel was largely empty, next to no people on the street either. But I dont watch these to pull apart plot holes, I like the action and ignore most of the shit like that, am just a simple man.

It's the chick writing down those asinine questions.
But yeah - I'm the same - I'm not looking to pick plot-holes, or do anything but sit back and enjoy the dumb action.
I'm just saying that "this was a pivotal moment" when I realised I was watching true trash (and will continue watching it)... to the extent that I actually bothered taking a fucking screenshot.... rather than just slightly silly trash.
Throwing in "the Art Teacher" trope too... sweet. Somebody got paid for writing this... and I want that person to buy me a beer. -

watched episode 4 of Rogue Heros, bit of a surprise
side point made me look up some stuff, Paddy Mayne was a British and Irish Lion before the war, love a rugby connection
Fearsome, hard bastard by all accounts. Likely that the term “colourful character “ was coined for him.

Is The Diplomat any good ?
Apparently this is the one we were supposed to watch but did The Night Agent instead.
Ten minutes in and it’s not looking promising.
My wife really liked it and recommended it to me. But then she's awfully selective when it comes to sharing memes, so...

I am too. You should see what doesn’t make the list.

I found it was like homeland but without any action, no real unpredictable twists, average cast.. and no strong sex scenes as netflix suggested..
still watched it though lol..was ok, nothing great

Gave it an episode and a half and…..naaa it’s shit. Don’t give a fuck about any of the people or what happens.

Really enjoyed it
Interesting how dangerous bastards are more in the Arnie mold in Hollywood, but in Europe it's fellas like Cassel

Cassel, Green and Mullan. All great actors that generally pop up in good roles in good stuff. Usually playing roles that one doesn't warm to. Obvs Eva gets a pass for getting the works out even when playing an unpleasant person.
I'll watch this though.

The Night Agent
Just watched the final episode of S01
Sorry - I slandered the series earlier. It was a bit shit, but an enjoyable bit shit. Ignore the (everything), just watch it as dumb entertainment.
But fuck. That final episode.
What a fluffybunny. Just...
I hope they do a 2nd season, only because they've set it up with an un-prenetrable premise... if only by the fucking bullshit of this series and its conclusion. There is NOTHING they could do more which is stupider than this. And I fucking love that.
But fuck. If they do NOT? Fuck you. That was an assault on thinking-ness. Fuck... it's succedeed.. I don't have the wordiness... ignorance is blisssssss. -
@Bones Yeah - kept me semi-occupied for a few hours.
Better than self-reflection - is probably the best praise for it.Also - I learned how to break into Camp David, if I ever feel the need to do that. So... it's got that.
(It felt like even the writer(s) had had enough, and just wanted to wrap it up, publish it under a pseudonym, and walk away promising themselves and others "we will never speak of this again".)

Broadband and TV service down due to Virgin Media incompetence (note to self to post on Grumpy Old Man thread). Dusted off the dvd player and watched Seven periods with Mr Gormsby with 18 yo old son and wife. He was astonished (but still laughed at most of it). Tom Scott and David McPhail v clever guys but geez not sure it would get made today.

Finished The Night Agent.
Was a decent enough watch, shut off brain and enjoy type of action series.
A few criticisms mentioned earlier, I didnt really get being an issue, were plenty of other things I'd point out before them.
