And there’s a few surprises too.

I’ll post it before 11:59pm (NZT) because I’m all about traditions that the NZRU seem intent on trashing.

@Tim stays on the outside and rides through the tackle! Unbelievable

@ACT-Crusader I've heard reports that a few injuries aren't as bad as reported.

          T. Highlander is available for selection.

Everyone is so negative on BB - have you considered the possibility that maybe he’s just keeping some powder dry for the big dance…

This would be a plausible theory if he also hadn't been dire in 2022... Unless he's playing a very long game.

That's a reasonable take to be fair.

@ACT-Crusader i dont meant to say he always been shit when starting or anything, just that it feels that his real stand outgames were early in his career coming off the bench, IMO...and now people are asking why he's not playing like that

I remember going over a highlights video last year and he's wearing 22/23 in a lot of the clips

The 4 tries against Australia era was mental. He was a playstation player and whoever was controlling the joypad was just holding down ∆.

Remember the try against Ireland in Dublin. Took it flat from the back of the scrum and ran 40 meters untouched (well until Sexton clobbered him round the ears in the in-goal area).

                      Freakish stuff.

It aint happening for him these days...

                            Beauden at 15.

This will be DMac’s 3rd test starting at 1st 5. And with a midfield combination that he has never played with…

Predictable team. Not chuffed with the selection of BB and the two Blues props on the bench but I think they want to give some of the SR finalists an extra week off to recover, especially a guy like Williams who has had a huge workload this year. Looks like Stevenson will not get an opportunity to prove himself which is a shame as this was the game to do it.

Happy to see Lord at lock and DMac at 10. Roigard better be selected for the Bok test, Christie is so meh.

No debuts for Stevenson or Roigard.

Forwards not great, props and Barrett aside.

Foster was always going to select BB at Fullback.
