No he would have sucked in this role. Daniel Day Lewis probably could have pulled it off though (:

In all seriousness, only Arnie could have made this film a hit, but it still doesn't take away the fact that he looks like he's just been woken up with a torch in his face every time he speaks.

But that's what make these films great. Arnie, Chuck, JCVD, Stallone, can't act for shit but it doesn't matter because they're great at kicking the shit out of people and looking good while doing it. No pansy stage actor could do that shit. In fact Id pay good money to see Arnie play Hamlet.

That's the thing. He has one awesome one-liner after the other and he doesn't really hit the mark with any of them. But he's the farking Austrian Oak and his sheer presence more than compensates for his acting deficiencies.

You probably shouldn't have posted this straight after a post of one of his awesome hitting the mark one liners.

Milius' Dillinger is damned fine movie. Constantly moving forward, tightly plotted, solid action. 8.5/10.

Any chance of getting a pic with him wearing that jersey and the pipe sticking out of him and 35-10 written at the top?

I think Dolph Lundgren is more wooden than any of them which is surprising for a bloke who is a legitimate genius in real life.

    "You gave this guy lines????"

Sly to the makers of Masters of the Universe. Dolph was of course He Man in that particularly shitty film.

But Dolph is really 3rd tier when you rate these action heroes. 1st is obviously Arnie, Sly and Chuck. 2nd is guys like VD and Segal.

Bruce Willis was a great action hero courtesy of the Die Hard franchise, and the guy could act.

Watched Mothers Day which has Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson, Julia Roberts and Jason Sudeikis in the cast. Thought it would be a comedy. Only funny bit would be the actors, director, screenwriters and producers laughing at you for wasting two hours on this crap.

No he wasn't, he was more the smartass hero, but he was a contemporary albeit an unlikely one after his start in Moonlighting

Watched Jason Bourne on Saturday and it didn't disappoint.

Just great entertainment and thoroughly watchable.

Not likely to win an academy award but then that sort of movie isn't intended to do so.

It was edge of the seat stuff and whilst it wrapped up some of the lose ends from the previous movies, it has opened up a new possibilities for future movies.

4 out 5 edge of the seats.

Oh yeah, and the new CIA chick was super hot in a nerdy way.

Bad reviews, funny movie, The Rock is funny as fudge. Kevin Hart is annoying as ever in that annoying guy role he plays but it doesn't go too far.

Aaron Paul says bitch - for all you Breaking Bad fanbois.

3.5 can you smell what The Rock is cooking out of 5.

Is there any benefit to re-watching the 4th one, Bourne Legacy with Jeremy Renner? Or do they just forget that one ever happened?

No need as it doesn't even rate a mention. It's back to Bourne and what the series does best.
